Uninstall AND Install problems whit Audigy ES

[color=white]I had problem when i install SB Audigr ES. Restart the cumputer and uninstall it fom Ad and Remov programs in windows. So far so good![/color]
[color=white]Tray to install it again from SB Cd-rom and now i get this messege "Error number 0x80040201 Desciption: Object have been free"[/color]

When I try to install SB from Cd-Rom it don´t look the same as it did the firts time I Install it. Now ther is obtions sucks as "repair", Ad components" and "Repair"
Don´t matter which I pik, the installations terminat immediately.

Motherboard Intel GB850 IntelP4 1.4Ghz 512Mb Samsung Harddrive 120GB
Nec DVD Plextor Cd-R

SB Suport Suck´s so pleas help me

uninstall the software in the add/remove software window
uninstall the hardware in the device manager, then run driver cleaner

then restart and install the software again

Sorry for my delay to respond to your sollution.

It didn´t work!!! I follow your instuctions and run Driver Cleaner.......

I have 2 hard drive, whit Xp-pro on and I can choose which one I want to Boot from.

The Samsung 120GB ( C:/ )I cant install the SB software that comes on the Cd´s. I get the error messege.

But....

On the Saegate drive 120 GB (F:/ )ther is no problems to istall the SB software

So.........any one, pleace!!!

ok, this sounds like you have an issue with the windows install on the first drive…
