Connect PS2 to Audigy 1
I want to watch DVD's from my PS2 and play games in full 5.1, but somehow my Audigy 1 (modded to Audigy 2 ZS) will not decode.
I have an Audigy ES, modded to Audigy 2 ZS. I connected a Hoontech DB III to my AUD_EXT, and I used an S/PIDF out from PS2 to the Hoontech DB III. DTS and DOLBY DIGITAL was set to DECODE in the audiohq tab. So what am I missing here? When I set DOLBY DIGITAL OFF in PS2, but OPTICAL OUT ON, I can listen 2.1. When DOLBY DIGITAL ON, there is no sound ... Please help! |

Hey DJstick, I am not sure what you mean.
I thought by directly connecting my Playstation 2 to my Audigy 1 card, it will automatically decode the Dolby Digital, once the decoder tab was set to S/PDIF in decode. |
