Audigy 4 Pro
Hi,
I just came across this page, where they say that creative has officially announced the Audigy 4 pro. http://world.altavista.com/babelfish...11853&lp=ja_en I don't really believe this news, because I can't even remember an Audigy 3

Isn't that the Platinum Pro model of the A2Z? ![]() http://us.creative.com/products/prod...4&product=4925 This one has the code " SB0380 " while the A2ZS platinum pro is the " SB0360 " |

Hmm, I preferred this topic in General Audio forum, since kX is still a rather specific driver, so I was surprised the other guy's thread was locked but no biggie. Here's a giant resolution shot of this new product:
http://www.soundblaster.com/products...pro_pdt_hi.jpg Funny that at www.soundblaster.com they have no news and no link to this new card (unless it's well hidden from people who post after 1:00am ). However, a little manual "sneaking" around shows that the following page is active:http://www.soundblaster.com/products/Audigy4pro/ (check the Gallery section) Also, check this thread where people have already noticed physical differences between that and A2ZS Pro boards: http://www5.head-fi.org/forums/showt...6&page=3&pp=25 Anyone plan to buy this? I wish Creative came up with an all-in-one "Audigy4 Pro" + "EMU 1212m" product. I can only dream...

Well, so I was moved.... thought this was interesting... luv the engrish, lol
*Mounting the digital input which does not mind sampling rate conversion With Sound Blaster Audigy 4 Pro, we mount the digital input which does not mind sampling rate conversion, the digital sound recording which is faithful to the original source is possible. The BS/CS tuner, taking in, various digital sources such as CD/DVD player and DAT deck to the computer, you will record & will compile, will try making the original. Through usual sampling rate conversion, the case where you record digitally, the input source be sure to have to adjust the sampling frequency of the software which is recorded,, but as for Sound Blaster Audigy 4 Pro because it corresponds to also the monitoring of sampling frequency of digital input, sampling frequency of the signal which is input from the external equipment is found at the glance. assuming this means the onboard ad/da dsp processors allow for true digital recording options via monitoring? or some such trick....

Now all we need is the iso image of the driver/install disc for the Audigy 4 card and we'll all be in heaven with our older cards.

![]() Anyways, about this card. I'm not a sound buff, but I do want nice sounding things. What's the big difference between this and Audigy 2? In fact if somebody can give me a rundown or point me towards a place which can give me run down of the differences between Audigy 2, Audigy 2 ZS and Audigy 4, that would be grand

photoshop CS is still called photoshop 8 aswell, they just changed the naming sequence… as for the differences, i can't see that many, apart from the opamp stage = higher quality audio

So does this audigy 4 pro have a diiferent hardware achitecture than audigy 2 zs?
Is this card supposed to be better than audigy 2 zs? UPDATE: If I remember correctly, a while ago creative was planning on introducing new sound card, which support the next generation EAX, is this that card? |

A little bit off topic but since you guys are talking about WinAmp, I have a quick question... Is anyone of you using the "SBLive! Resample bugfix" plug-in with WinAmp5? Do you hear any difference?
