This driver supports Audigy, Audigy2, and Audigy2 ZS series (not Audigy LS sound card). It is strongly recommended upgrading your Windows XP to at least Service Pack1 (though the driver can be used without upgrading). Please uninstall all current sound drivers before install this driver unless clashes occur. All Audigy series sound cards have “S/PDIF” function via modified ID files; the driver integrates “modded Audigy2 to Audigy2 ZS” patches (install A2-ZS-PAX.exe to use all functions of A2 ZS. I had edited the post . We don't know why these links go slow for European/American from lots of guys' posts. Me in Asia can get 500K/s downloading that from mydrivers.com.
Sorry for that.

Software pack:
1. http://file2.mydrivers.com/sound/A2-ZS-PAX.exe
2. http://file.mydrivers.com/sound/A2-ZS-PAX.exe
3. http://file3.mydrivers.com/files/sound/A2-ZS-PAX.exe
4. ftp://file4.mydrivers.com/files/sound/A2-ZS-PAX.exe
5. http://szgwbn.mydrivers.com/sound/A2-ZS-PAX.exe (maybe this one can get access faster than other mirrors. Mr. Graham tested it.)
6. http://sc.mydrivers.com/sound/A2-ZS-PAX.exe
7. http://edu.mydrivers.com/sound/A2-ZS-PAX.exe

patch:
1. http://file2.mydrivers.com/sound/AudioHQ.exe
2. http://file.mydrivers.com/sound/AudioHQ.exe
3. http://file3.mydrivers.com/files/sound/AudioHQ.exe
4. ftp://file4.mydrivers.com/files/sound/AudioHQ.exe

Have you guys tried ftp links? Those maybe run faster

Yes, we need to uninstall all current drivers before install this. Choose the set which you like, for example, you like playing game, you choose PAX ZS 3.69g; you like listening music, you choose PAX ZS 3.69f; you just simply mod A2 to A2ZS, you can download any one of them.
I can host them for you, but how shall I do? I don't know what to do on softpedia.com and majorgeeks.com.

I have been back to China. In China, I get much faster Internet access than that I'm Malaysia(Malaysian Internet access is superrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr slowwwwwwwwwwwwww). Tell me what drivers you want, I directly send them to you by icq, or MSN, or QQ(if you have one). Then you please host them for other people.

Thanks.

Hi!
I have SB 0090
If I understand correctly applications should be installed first - driver should be unchecked when running A2-ZS-PAX.exe while Mediasource should be checked. Problem - Mediasource is the only application that gets installed in this case. Or am I doing something wrong?

SB0090 - Audigy SB1394

Everything installed now. I dont know what went wrong the first time. But I installed PAX ZS 3.69g first and then A2-ZS-PAX.exe. If I remember correctly what I was doing yesterday - A2-ZS-PAX.exe wanted to install drivers if they were not present and I couldnt prevent that. If I canceled driver install, installation of applications also got canceled. But I may be wrong because it was late, I was tired and doing 10 things at a time I will uninstall everything and try to reproduce this.
Another question: does selecting audigy 1 in PAX ZS 3.69g install Audigy 1 drivers or modified drivers with Audigy 2 functionality?

You'r done except updating drivers. No, you can't do it.
Don't install the drivers which is in A2-ZS-PAX.exe. After you install SB0400 drivers, choose customized installation when you install A2-ZS-PAX.exe, and got rid of option: "Windows drivers".

Now you uninstall all drivers and software and reinstall them according to what I say. Then it will be OK

Yes, you need to uninstall all current Creative drivers and software first. then install the stuff I gave to you. Software installation will not be cancel if you canceled Window drivers option(choose customized installation).
Choose Audigy1, your card will almost "become" to Audigy2 ZS(not only Audigy2). Only one function can't be modded: DTS decoding.
But after mod, you will get:
96Khz/24Bit 5.1 surround
192Khz/24Bit Stereo
DOLBY DIGITAL EX 5.1
SPDIF IN
...
I'm pretty sure your Hi-Definition DVD will rock you...

DOLBY DIGITAL EX 5.1"

classic leon:

In the quote above I make from your post, it sounds like youre saying (by using this driver) someone with an Audigy sound card (not an Audigy 2 soundcard) will be able to have 96Khz/24Bit 5.1 surround playback and 192Khz/24Bit Stereo playback. I think you aught to clarify yourself, or elaborate on the ability of this driver.

The Audigy card hardware is only capable of a maximum of 24 bit/96 KHz playback (and 16 bit/ 48 kHz recording), so will this driver enable Audigy users (not Audigy 2) to have 192Khz/24Bit Stereo playback? If it enables an Audigy user to have 192Khz/24Bit Stereo playback (that's Outstanding!), and surely that's done through some software means. Isn't it?

Also, what would be the maximum recording bit depth and sample rate for an Audigy user using the YouP PAX ZS 3.69 series Drivers?

Please clarify what is possible for an Audigy user using the driver?

Thank you.

i don;t think the Audigy 1 series cards can even do 96kHz Thomas, you'll still be stuck at 24/48

Well, technically or theoretically, the Audigy is capable of a maximum 24 bit/96 KHz playback. But, I'm wondering what these drivers are capabale of making possible for Audigy users.

unless they do double-routing through the DSP (complex and requires a compiler chip at the end) i don't see how it would work…

DJ:

Let me clarify my statement. Product specifications state that the Audigy is capable of a maximum of 24 bit/96 KHz playback and 16 bit/ 48 kHz recording.

How's that for you?
