try using another DVD playback software (if you have one)
perhaps the software is dodging you either that or make sure that your card is selected by the software in its options menu

Creative can decode DTS DVD movies, yes. Set your software DVD player to output to SPDIF. And make sure you choose to select soundcard to decode DTS content in AudioHQ. DTS:Neo6 is used to output your stereo content (mp3s, wma, wav) to playback to your 5.1 or 6.1 speakers. You can only activate this when you play using Creative MediaSource Player. |

DTS neo 6 is for routing 2 channel to 6. It does not relate with DTS decoding. And it looks like a EAX setting. So, when you enable DTS neo 6, EAX will automatically disable itself. Personally it is useless for me.
BozQ vbmenu_register("postmenu_499198", true); said right. Ryeeson, vbmenu_register("postmenu_498944", true); you just do what BozQ said.

Set in to SPDIF In AudioHQ, there is a Decoder tab (or what I would prefer to call as SPDIF tab). You can choose between decoding with your sound card or passthrough the raw AC3/DTS signal to an external decoder. Play around and you will get the hang of it. |
