Graham: We have to "cheat" drivers to recognize your card as a great one. For example, drivers will check if ID of your card is Audigy2's or Audigy2ZS's. If it is Audigy2's ID, drivers will disable some functions(like DTS decoding); else drivers will let you to run all functions (Creative).

Thanks for the clarification. So what happens now? Do you and youP have to create individula drivers for each ID code? Surely that is a mammoth undertaking. Should we expect a posting of the new drivers in the near future or will all this work take weeks or longer?

I think it will be done like in nVidia Forceware driver - driver can detect multiple card models and install on every supported model

do installl the audio console only on default directory.

on my first install i changed the partition from C:/Programs/Creative ..... to D:/Programs/Creative .....
and it didnt start, too.

after reinstalling and coosing C:/Programs/Creative (default) it worked

And I don't understand why I must have NTFS partition for higher output's voume ?
