The latest driver modded using Audigy4 drivers, but it does no work with Audigy4.

Cnbeta Pax V1.0 driver was produced by admin_guo and YouP through a new mod method without modding any system files(For Win2000、WinXP、Win2003、Win98se、WinMe、Longhorn & etc. operating system). These drivers are optimized for X86,Ia64 and Amd64; and support SBLive, but we haven't been tested for most SBLive cards more.(not strongly recommended to install on SBLive). Support Audigy（not Audigy LS）、Audigy2、Audigy2 ZS series. Please install DX 9.0C or higher version before you install these drivers. To ensure your installation complete, please uninstall all sound drivers now you are using! Use PAX uninstaller to remove current PAX drivers, do not to use Cnbeta Pax V 1.0 uninstaller to remove the old drivers on your OS.

PAX-NewYear v1.1 drivers for Win2000、WinXP、Win2003、Longhorn (not WIN98、WINME; installation requires to abort if you do so, and then click “OKâ€� to exit) support Audigy (not Audigy LS), Audigy2, Audigy2 ZS LS(Audigy2 value), Audigy2 ZS Notebook(Audigy2 PCMCIA), EMU1212 and Audigy2 ZS; but no SB Live supported(SB live modded drivers are coming soon). Please install Microsoft Direct X 9.0C or higher version before you install these drivers. Because these drivers enhance sound quality, you could turn down your volume on speaker setting lower than 75%.

-Add “Creative volume control� tweak of A2 ZS value Package (but cannot select quantity of speakers); you are able to adjust most of functions directly for your sound card.

-support more cards includes Audigy2 ZS Notebook (Audigy2 PCMCIA)

-Automatically detect the type of your Operating System

To ensure your installation completed, please uninstall all sound drivers now you are using! Use PAX uninstaller to remove current PAX drivers, do not to use PAX-NewYear v1.1 uninstaller to remove the old drivers on your OS.

These drivers keep tone details well and do not modify original timbre. Please use High quality media sources to play music; hissing is easy to emerge form low quality sources played.

[color=cyan]You just need to extract this file to be 3 files and copy them to "C:\WINNT\System32\"(to this path if your system is Window2000. If your OS is Window XP, the path should be c:\WINDOWS\system32) only. Next, cut them out from "C:\WINNT\System32\", and then copy them to "C:\WINNT\System32\" again.[/color]

This driver works for the Creative sound card with Emu chip.

And news for all Audigy LS and SBlive 24bit users, mod drivers for your card is modifying...

is this modded driver reliable? will it affect the functions of the dts, dolby digital ex decoing options etc etc?

also, the installer readme says its not meant for audigy2zs except audigy1. true cos im using audigy2zs

Nope I just try them and they sound awesome they do have 5.1 taste to them. Because I just got done watching Starwars movies my moms brother lone me and they sound better with these drivers then other set. Plus this set is much faster or gamming I score 11,819 at 553/303 with them

if u mean 3dmark 01 then i was not aware that 3dmark used sound
as for me sound was not as good and had little options unless there are more to come

3dmark01se Well it has better eax support for graphics for somereason. I don't know why Because with kx drivers I get lower score on my video card then I do with cretive drivers for somereason. With creative drivers I get better FPS then Kx drivers. Now all I want those addons software package What speakers you have? Mine the logitech 5.1 70watts
