Is an Audidy 2 ZS worth $50?
I just got an ad from best buy on sunday and they normally sell the ZS for $100. There is a $30 instant rebate then a $20 mail in rebate so the final price will be $50. Right now i have an Audigy LS and I am wondering how much of an improvement the ZS would be. I think mine sounds ok, but it seems to be a CPU hog. I dont really have anything to compare the sound to except my onboard.

the 2 ZS is indeed very nice

for starters it supports 7.1 channel

System Specs

the LS is mainly software based, so using a ZS which is mostly hardware based will reduce your CPU overhead.

aswell as better quality, 7.1 sound, expansion options, and the ability to use several different driver options

I bought a new Audigy2 which costs 455RMB($55). It is a Dell OEM card and all things are same as Audigy2 ZS model:0350 but jacks are not gilt and there is not ad_ext pins.
