KX drivers and USB audio

I've got a TASCAM US-224 but when I'm using the KX ASIO driver in cubase SX V2 I can't make it appear in the list of available inputs (yes I have set the sample rate to 48k).

It works fine with all my other ASIO drivers...anyone got any bright idea's how do this or can't I - I've had a bit of a look at the router but to be honest it wasn't obvious and I found it all a bit confusing.

System Specs

kX doesn't work for any other products apart from the 10kS series PCI soundcards

I have a soundblaster live 5.1 soundcard so thats fine - but are you saying can't see my US 224 at all (usb A-D converter/remote controller/midi-usb convertor), I have no problems when using ASIO4ALL - it just not as good.

alright, the US 244 is connected via USB right? therefore it has to use its own driver. You will need to choose that in cubase

Ok well I'm still a bit of a newbie this case but how come I can use ASIO4All and go the control panel see all the devices available to me including my US-224 and select that as my input device? - Thanks for all your help by the way

because ASIO4ALL accesses all soundcards, whereas kX only works for 10kX cards, and will only show the inputs of ONE card (due to timing and sync issues)

And finally the penny drops, I hadn't really appreciated that the US-224 exhibited itself as a sound card - but now I come the think of it - thats all it is I suppose - thanks you've helped a lot.
