sound n00bie...speaker volumes...

im using 5.1 channel sound card on 6.1 speakers. The front speakers are really loud while the two rear ones yu can barly hear them. Is there a way or program i can download to adjust the volume of indivudal speakers... I want to lower the volume of the front and raise the rear volume...

your sound card control panel/driver app should have volume control levels.

no it doesnt... i didnt end up getting a soundcard, instead im using my mmothrboards built in audio, its a asus kv8 se deluxe... comes with a program called soundmax.....
gives you links to a site called sensaura to download a program called virtual ear but the link it no longer working...and i went to www.sensaura.com and it dont have any of the apprioate downloads......

everything.... one speaker is really loud the other front ones are moderatly loud and the rear ones you can hardly hear... when i play mp3 only 2 of the speakes work , i guess i need a player that supports 5.1 ch, games it sounds somewhat goood, at movies are alright , but i need to spice up the rear speakers with some extra volume with out distorting the front speakers
