windows XP never detects my live as the device it is

I'm trying to do the Live! to Audigy2 mothod, but since XP doesn't detect my soundcard as a soundblaster card nothing works, it just detects it as a generic audio card or an audio media controller.

please help... is there some type of patch that can make windows detect devices?

here is my info

ECS systems motherboard
Pentium 4 2.6ghz
512 MB Ram
Geforce 2
Soundblaster Live! 24-bit model SB0410

i don't thing your card supports the audigy drivers, due to its totally different architecture
