Glad to help out BlackTone..I too have been working diligently like Robert , Leon and the others for us poor 4.1 SB Live! people...and I am going to get a Audigy Pro sometime because I just bought a 6.1 Logitech system for my computer...and my center channel just sits on my monitor....and stares...

Any other questions let me know...I can post the links to the .444 drivers if I get enough people who want them..although you could just Google and get it....

Sorry for coming so late. Now the updated pack is being compiled and will be uploaded tomorrow.
SBLive will be supprted with the latest YouP PAX VI v1.68 which based on 291 drivers modded. But 293 drivers were released in only Chinese by Creative, so maybe SBLive users' EAX Console will present in Undefined code but YouP said he would do a translation job to 291 drivers.
UP said would like to launch his drivers solely. so there are not work UP does in this pack.

I am kind of lost any help would be greatly appreciated. I have an Audigy Platinum. I have a clean XP SP2 installation and I want to install the latest\best driver and application package for my system. I have downloaded the 2005 New Year package. I install with the 1.2 driver option and select the software I want. Everything works except the "Entertainment Center" which causes shutdown hang and system hang. DXdiag shows the driver version to be 5.12.0001.1042. Does anyone have a recommendation as to how to get the Entertainment Center to work or is there a different YouP driver I need to get to make things work smoother.

Most greatful to all who are working on this project, many thanks in advance!

I think that updated pack will work fine with a new YouP drivers which are modded .444 drivers. YouP tested .444 drivers are much better than .1042 beta.

I have longhorn transformtion pack 7 though....

classic_leon - I had a copy of 444 drivers and used CTZAPXX to install them over the ones YouP Live installs. It installed great and I didn't get any errors HOWEVER -

1) The wave out device vanished
2) The mixer vanished

The midi devices were there. I had to uninstall the driver and do a system restore and now I'm back to 252 (and it's working great).

Any ideas? I was using 444 before I installed YouP NewYear LIVE on a fresh WinXP SP2 installation.
I have CT4830 (Live! Value).

I think I had a problem like that.

When you upgrade PaX drivers, you have to uninstall the soft first. I mean, install drivers and then the software (with YouP PaX VI ULTRA you have to do this way). I have a CT4830 too.

Hmmm.... will it be worth the effort?
I absolutely need the SPDIF in to work (pin 15/16) which the current 252 drivers give me. If the quality/features that I'll get with 444 or CnBeta will be much better, and I also get SPDIF in working, then I might do it.

What do you suggest?

leon, great pax btw, i am a audigy 2 ZS non PLAT owner, i have all working on your pax except the Entertainment Centre as its was advised not to use install non PLAT.

Am i reading correctly, that there is now going to be a newer pax avail and what is difference for me as i got no problems, i know its to help live users but im on audigy ZS pax not live or audigy 2.

Would you still advise i remove these and download your new pax ? and whats new in it. ?

Hi leon, Thanks for the All Pax drivers, I'm Audigy 2 PLAT External owner, Do the youp-pax-zsv2.66a or the driver in A2-ZS-PAX.exe have better compatibilities for Audigy 2 Plat ex ed ? Sorry I'm still confused. My methode to install are :
1. Uninstall all creative things
2. Install the youp-pax-zsv2.66a
3. install all a2-zs-PAX, but unchecked the wdm driver
Is my methode Right Leon?
Oh ya, Is the new year Pakcage better in compatibilities with Audigy 2 Platinum ex than the two drivers above ?

humeyboy, you don't have to download it if you haven't encountered any bugs occurs, but I think there is a bug causes error with EAX Console running.
awan, YouP-PAX-zsv3.69 drivers have the better compatibilities with the card. and YouP has a new drivers version of YouP PAX ZS v3.89 which is integrated in the New Package provides the best compatibilities.
