Audigy X 2005 NewYear package will be completed in 1 or 2 hour(s), but I'm not sure if YouP can upload soon because of it is weekend.

p.s. multi-language supported. for example, you are from korean, so you get korean language on your pc; you are from france, you get french...

Not only Chinese supported, you also will get what ever language you want

classic leon, you tell YouP, get his butt moving.

LOL Just kidding, but that seems like some humor that Robert McClelland would use. He tickles me so much with his English. LOL

Well, maybe we can see the new pack by Monday. Thanks for keeping us posted on the status.

Sincerely, thomasabarnes

Smilie

Thank-you SO much for the drivers YouP and leon. My Audigy with my Klipsch Promedias aound like their suppose to sound now thx to you. w00h00 nomore p00r Creative drivers.

A special thanks goes out to RCOrdorica, who hosts these files at BLAZING soeeds for us in the Western Hemisphere. Using the mydrivers links took forever at 1.2 kb/sec and I never finished.

Finally, a question to classic_leon, can I go to Creatives site, and download the updates for the applications and drivers? I was thinking maybe I can use ctcomp and extract the official drivers, and update the New Years package v1.2. Can't wait till the new 2005 X's.

iRon(V)oNKeY, not too sure about updating the apps (I only use the Surround Mixer, EQ, EAX Console and Speaker Settings), but I downloaded the Audigy 2ZS Notebook Audigy 4 update posted in this thread,

http://www.hardwareheaven.com/audio-general-technical-discussion/65474-sound-blaster-audigy-2-series-audigy-4-driver-update-5-12-10-1042-a.html

on my Audigy ES (with the A2-ZS-PAX package installed), without having to modify anything. Now in Device Manager it shows my driver version as 5.12.10.1042, which is what the next YouP's are supposed to be based on.

Thank-Q very much for the reply, stormy13. I already got the 5.12.10.1042 on my Audigy already. It just seems like Creative has 10,000 drivers for each and every app and card. It's kinda confusing. These YouP drivers sound amazing!!!

NewYear package has been done. But it needs to take one day to upload on Monday. I think you will get it on Tuesday.

BTW, this package includs the latest updates of Audigy4 Pro, You don't need to update them from Creative website.

Donator
are the audigy x drivers the same as the new years 1.2 or an update of them? Is this like the AS-ZS-PAX where we would only install the software, or is it the whole thing (drivers & software?)

Thanks

I have the same question

What is the sequence of installing drivers and software ?

First PaX NewYear 1.2 driver and then Audigy X 2005 NewYear or first install software and then driver ?

Ha Ha, I am coming. Install software first without drivers, and then install YouP-NewYear drivers.

And there is something changed. NewYear Package will integrate the latest Creative official drivers(includes: softmod Audigy2 to Audigy2 ZS), and YouP NewYear 1.2 drivers to you who will be able to have more choices.

Tomorrow morening it will be uploading and I i will post links for you to download when links are available.

"Audigy1 + Live Drive"
Do you mean Live Drive is Digital I/O, or Platinum Drive Bay, or something else?
If that is Digital I/O, or Platinum Drive Bay:
Try to disassemble that Live Drive, and install Audigy drivers. Then find difference of pin assignment of SbLive and Audigy, and connect Audigy1 + Live Drive correctly while connect pin 15 and pin 25 to get DOLBY DIGITAL decoded by Audigy's "hardware-decoding" from external resource (i.e. Optical in. You don't have to connect them if you don't want it).

Please correct me if I haven't understood your question.

FIY - there is no difference between the connection of the Audigy Drive and the Live Drive to either a Live card or an Audigy card

I installed them and the y rock! But no bass boost option for Audigy 2? Thats the one thing I really wanted?

Ok nm on that bit seems it does not work on 5.1 and above.

One thing though, do they work with a Audigy Platinum? IE will the live drive and remote work with these drivers? Not sure whether to mod my mates or not?

I bought a "Digital I/O 2 in 1" from Creative website, which was different and had two plugs. I have to use electrical wire to connect different pins in different position to one of my Audigy2s.

NewYear Package will be soon posted for you to download. I think that package will be satisfied with it.

And I used the package you downloaded on my Audigy2 Platinum and every thing worked fine. So, it works with live drive and remote device.

Released!!!

-***-YouP-PAX Audigy X 2005 NewYear Package-***-

This package is modified and hacked Audigy 2 ZS Notebook and Audigy4 Pro software applications. Please read installation guide carefully before install it:

Operating System:

Win2000 Service Pack 4

WinXPSP1 or higher

Win2003

Longhorn

(no WIN98WINME and WINNT4.0supported. Please install DX9C on your system)

Compatible Card:

Audigy(no Audigy LS supported)

Audigy2

Audigy2 ZS (includes Gateway OEM Audigy2 ZS)

Audigy 2 ZS Notebook

To ensure installation completed, please reserve 800MB space on partition C:\ to store application files which will be removed after installation.

Extra applications (optional):

1. Creative MediaSource 3 (v3.10.16)

The latest update for Audigy4 Pro

2. EAX Console (v2.20.07)

The latest update for Audigy4 Pro: Argent Theme

3. Creative Smart Recorder (v2.10.56)

The latest update for Audigy4 Pro

4. Creative Entertainment Center

Use for Audigy x platinum/Audigy2 ZS Pro. It is not recommended to be installed on other sound card unless there is a bug, shut-down-delay which brings stagnation when you turn off PC.

5. AudioHQ

Add AudioHQ instead of Decoder of Creative Audio Control Panel which cannot be used on Audigy.

Description about cracking:

Audigy series sound card has entire functionality including Creative DVD-AUDIO player but DTS decoding.

Audigy2/Audigy2 ZS series is able to run all applications of this package.

Bit-Accurate Playback which supported for Audigy4 Pro only is not able to be hacked.

Note:

This software package includes THREE installation modes for different users.

1.Install Audigy X 2005 NewYear Package and Creative 5.12.08.1042 drivers (includes softmod A2A2ZS)

Audigy X 2005 NewYear Package and the latest Creative 5.12.08.1042 drivers which includes softmod A2A2ZS. Maybe “shut-down-delay” will occur on non-AudigyX Platinum card. DVD-AUDIO issue occurs under Windows Server 2003.

2. Install Audigy X 2005 NewYear Package and PAX-NewYear v1.2 drivers

This mode provides all Audigy4 applications but Bit-Accurate Playback (this function is only supported by Audigy4 hardware), and fixes DVD-AUDIO issue under Windows Server 2003, and provides several EXTRA new features (Creative SoundFont Synth, etc).

3. Install Audigy X 2005 NewYear Package only (without any driver)

You can install other drivers you like under this installation mode. But we highly recommend you install Creative 5.12.08.1041 drivers or higher unless your system has crash.

Creative DVD-AUDIO Payer will not be installed under Windows2003 to avoid DVD-AUDIO issue, and please install WinDVD or other DVD players instead of.

Download(choose any one link below):
1) http://file2.mydrivers.com/sound/PAX-NewYear2005-AX.rar
2) http://file.mydrivers.com/sound/PAX-NewYear2005-AX.rar
more links will be available tomorrow.
(you can find a patch file inside. And you needn't install it if you don't use "RAV Anti-Virus")

BTW, some Audigy 1 users do not need to update CMS, cos you can get a function which Audigy 2 users do not have, that is multi-channel record at 96KHz/24Bit on CMS player. And this function will be missed if you update CMS. And this function will be missed if you update CMS for your Audigy1.

Next mission is Live 2005 NewYear.
