NEW YEAR PACKAGE for SBLive/Audigy/Audigy2/Audgiy2ZS series

I have installed the Pax 4 drivers with an Audigy 2, and am unable to obtain ASIO output (via ASIO4All) above 48Khz. I use ASIO4All rather than Creative's ASIO drivers because it provides 32bit output.

In any case, (a) is it possible to overcome this bug and (b) in general are there any real benefits to using the Pax 4 drivers with an Audigy 2 over the 1.2 ones - which work excellently (so many thanks to whoever developed them).

Audigy2 series sound cards do not soupport more than 24bit. So I thing you'd better use Creative ASIO.

Creative official drivers, card doesn't have emu-chip and so kxproject nor YouP doesn't install on it.

for the moment, with youp new year 2005, I have got some crashes (blue screens) with CS 1.6 (with a strange noise coming out from my speakers ...)

Is my only one solution to put back original audigy 2 drivers ? It's quite boring to update several times the drivers and appli. Is there any other way ?

Every kind of drivers keeps updating including nVidia Forceware and Creative Official ones. And, Every time different CD image is used, new download has to be posted out, no body can get it perfect at once.
If you roll back to original drivers you will lost lots of functions, like decoding DTS. I suggest you install YouP drivers and the software of your Audigy2 CD or install BiGBrOwNPimpsta's modded drivers for games.

which drivers are best for a bare(bought it by itself) Audigy 2 from a Platinum EX and is most up to date? I want best sound quality games and music if possible. If not both probably music. If theres even much difference.

I got it coming in the mail and wanna download the best stuff for it the first time around.

Choose YouP PAX 4.00v and New Year 2005.
The latest one is coming on June, 1st.

Hmm that dvd audio player looks sweet, onty its rarely used, wish mediasource looked that way.

Do we get that little blue led volume icon that we can chose where on screen it pops up, looks like a dial with blue leds around it, i try get picture incase you not got clue what im trying to explain.

You can set the screen volume level indicator location manually.

humeyboy, do you mean that volume control with lots of blue leds? It only come out with Creative remote controller. You have it if you have Audigy platinum/Audigy2 platimum/Audigy2 platinum pro or Creative CD-ROM(the one bundles remote control).

Hello,

I have an audigy 2 platinum ex and a Teufel concept e magnum surround system.
That two pices won't work together very well. It's because of the original creative drviers, because with the KX drivers it is working very well. So I hope that you can tell me a modded driver for my soundcard, because I like EAX 3.0 and KX doesn't has it. Perhaps someone has a mixture between the original driver from creative because I like all the function and the working KX.
Oh i forgot to say, I'm new here and I don't know anything more about modded driver or modding a driver.

Perhaps someone can tell me where to find such a driver.

The drivers support EAX4. You can install these drivers on your sound card but I'm not sure they will work properly because of I don't have "Pin assignment"(it is not exactly pin) for Audigy2 Platinum EX's external Box, but we have Audigy2 ZS Platinum Pro's and this type of sound card support these modded drivers. I think they have the same "pin"s and work well.

CMS Panel,, when i first click on it then exit it.. I cant open it again... CTCMS.exe stays on process and i cant end it... Anyone knows why?
