4.00 is Audigy 2 driver, 1.2 is modded Audigy 4 driver - the 4.00 sound better
Installation: -Remove all Creative Software/Drivers from your system -Use Drivercleaner to remove files that have not been deleted by setup -Install 4.00 drivers -Install New Year Package (the way thomas described it above) |

1.) Will try instal New Year pack without drivers (if it works)and after reboot and then 4.00 driver and if it doesnt work 2.) will try New Year pack with driver and than unselect win driver. Maybe i have stupid quest. but i have never tried install pack with driver so i cant see all possibilities of installation as an option to NOT install the drivers at the bottom of a list of things to be installed... will try to tell you results soon

I need some clarification on all of this. First, Does one install the software from the giant NY Pax first, without the drivers, and then install the 4.00 drivers for the Audigy2? Or the 4.00 drivers first followed by the software?
Second, from all the screenshots, everything looks to be in chinese. Is there a pure english installation where evertything comes out in proper english that we dont see in the screenshots posted here? |

You can choose english interface during installation. I would first install drivers, but it doesn't hurt to do it the other way round.
There seem to be some installation issues though, some people (including me) had to choose installtion with drivers and then during creative setup untick driver option to get things work. |

Thanks Jonny. I've got full functionality with both my Audigy2 Pro and my Emu 0404 in the same pc! I couldnt even do this properly with the original A2 drivers!

Great Drivers!!
Congratulations you guys!! Made an excelent work with youP VI 2.2!!! I have a soundblaster live! 5.1, and now i have better bass and treble definition. I haven´t tried it with games yet, but music sounds brilliant. I´ll try the drivers with games later, and i´ll tell you how it works.

Thanx clasic leon , unfortunatly din`t worked for me, the bass sounds distorted and i can`t affort it.
i tested it with music and with the ut2004, the bass sounds very bad it migth be my card but with the youp- drivers worked fine. i know you have done an exelent work and we the sound blaster users apreciate a lot thanx i`ll be waiting for a new set of drivers. i left the other application and it worked too, but the dolby eax option is not longer available well thanx CLASSIC LEON thanx a lot. |

Nforce2XP, You mean 2.2 ok? You may try to roll back to Audigy2 software pack.
pAq85, these drivers do not suit Audigy2 value which has no EMU10kx. You can have a Audigy/Audigy2 series.

Hey classic_leon I got a question. I got your PAX-ZSv4.00 Drivers and the New Year 2005 Package. I want to install Creative DVD-Audio Player on my card. I have Audigy Platinum. Is it possible to install the DVD-A player somehow? Hacked prehaps? Thanx!

the ID of your sound card is not modded. You now can use 1.2 first and get the latest YouP PAX drivers in 3 days. Creative DVD-Audio player is removed by YouP because even if you install it, it does not run.

Hi classic_leon firstly thnx for all ur hard work.
I want to ask: I have SB LIVE! CT 4760 WITH LIVE DRIVE II. Is it supported? As i understand i have to download the new year edition(that has inside the 1,68 drivers) install everything,then uninstall only the drivers and install the 2.2 drivers. HOLY SHIT my music never sounded so much better even when i chose game/dvd WOWOWOW,,, SIN thats wanna i know too.......... i had to install a OpenAL32.dll tho so maybe it does?

I've just tested a little bit on my Audigy2ZS, but so far it's a very nice experience. Running without any Creative software other than the Audio Console that comes with this A4 v1.00 package.
