Hey,
how to redirect the Bass to the Subwoofer in the newest YouP Pax Version for Sblive? (Its 2.2 i think

) Sry,if it had been posted before,but i was too lazy to read every site.

BTW:I have an Live! 5.1 Digital (SB0220) Maybe thats important.

Creative drivers do not provide this function. But you can enhance your woofer with THX after you choose speaker setting to 2.1.

you can mod that to audigy 4

Yes if you listen to movies and play games chose that one. Make sure you unstalled old audigy 2 software first before installing audigy 4 software.

Hi, I installed the A4 1.02 Drivers and chose the Gaming / DVD option. These drivers sound worse than the official Audigy 2 ZS drivers for me. It may just be lack of bass boost button in the Creative Audio Console that comes with the drivers. In the Official drivers there is a bass boost button you can use when you have the drivers set to 2.1/2 speaker setup. Without it it seems kind of weak. I don't want to use the normal windows control panel volume controls to adjust bass up and down. What should I do.

Is the A4 1.02 the best options for drivers when your using an Audigy 2 ZS.

Try the YouP-PAX-A4v1_02. They work fine for gaming with my Audigy2/ZS. This driver package does only contain a minimal of software so if you want the full Creative control applications you'll need to download the much larger Audigy4 ISO as well. Try without it first.

I guess you could try it but it's probably best to clear out all older creative software and use the ones made for Audigy4 if you need them.

Hi!

I got the 1.02 A4 driver from the link at tutorial thread (none of the links found at this thread has worked to me, including Robert McClelland's mirror).

It's working great!!!

I have just one question: during the installation, the setup program aways show "1.00 version"... Is this right?

Having problems with GAME/DVD edit and movies with AC3.I'm using A2ZS with A4 11.02 hardware decoder and set AC3 filter to SPDIF.The sounds breaks and the movies plays with speed higher than normal.It's not AC3 filter problem cause it's the same with cyberlinks audio decoder.If i disable Audigy hardware decoder and use a software (ac3 filter) everything is ok, but i like better the hardware decoder.A week ago with MUSIC EDIT I there was no such problem.Is there any solution or it is a driver problem ?

They do,with my original drivers i can select Bass redirection.

The problem was with Media Player Classic. What do you preffer - using software (AC3 filter) or hardware decoder for AC3 enabled content ?

The driver files of GAME/DVD edit and music edit are the some that controls decoders. Creative crap drivers always have this kind of issue inclunding mine. The synchronization occured after you install a new set of drivers. Normally I double click Pause button during playing DVD, then movie played synchro. But after I install WinDVD 7, this kinda issues have gone.

Vradash, sorry, I thought that was to cut bass from satellite speakers' woofer and use original sub woofer which comes from woofer channel only. Would you plaese post a picture of Bass redirection? I'm now using Chinese version of that, I don't exactly know what that function is.

emzo, romove the software decoder, AC3 filter. Use Media Player Classic. Even Windows Media Player 10 is better than software decoder with your Audigy2.

Than what r u using for decoding AC3 content ?
As far as i know there is only AC3 filter and FFDSHOW(but i think it's using AC3 filter).

I'm using WinDVD7.
WinDVD series, PowerDVD, and Media Player Classic could do it with Creative EMU10K2 embed as a Hardware decoder on Audigy/Audigy2/Audigy2 ZS/Audigy4 series .
