Forcing creative drivers to output through AC3Filter, even possible?

I know Creative has stated more than once that would not support on the fly DD encoding.

So I was wondering if it might be posible to hack the Creative drivers in such a way that any sound has to be passed through the AC3 Filter for on the fly DD encoding where applicable. I believe it will pass through anything it can't encode. If it can't then perhaps it could be made so it can be enabled and disabled in the event that it can't.

This should allow us to play many games that are not EAX in full DD 5.1 even those that are when EAX has been disabled. Who knows maybe even DD 5.1 encoded EAX is posible?

Here is the link to the filter:

it might be possible, but you'll have to wait for support from the program itself afaik
