modding audigy2 to audigy2zs

Hi everyone!

I've heard that Audigy2 can be modded to Audigy2zs by hardware, but can be it by software too? I'm very interested...

Anyway, if there is any guide or link or something to hardware or software modding, I would appreciate your help to do it, because I've searched in this forum and I didn't find it clearly.

Read the last part of the first post "Youp PAX New Year Pack". It mentions the softmod in the driver explanation.

THank you! I had read it but I forgot! Yes, there is a patch with the drivers.

Anyway, has someone thought or tested the hardmod, if there is a way to do it? Where can I find info?

Only real difference between Audigy2 & Audigy2zs it that A2 is 6.1 and A2zs is 7.1... You MUST hardware mod plain old A2 in order to get 7.1...
A2value seems to be 7.1 too...

Ok, but I think I never have 7.1, well don't know, maybe in the future.
