Does the Audigy 2 ZS have a connector to attach a MIDI daughterboard?
Currently I have two soundcards in my system, a Vortex 2 soundcard with a MIDI daughtercard that came with my old Diamond Multimedia MX300 vortex 2 based soundcard and a newer Audigy 2 ZS. The only reason I have the MX300 still in my rig is to use the excellent Roland MIDI daughtercard. I'd like to get rid of the MX300 if possible.
Is there any way I can attach and use the Roland MIDI daughtercard with my Audigy 2 ZS? If not, is there any soundfont out there that will produce as good a MIDI sound as the daughtercard I have now? |

The audigy 2 ZS does have a MIDI/Gameport point to connect with it's gameport adaptor.
You should be able to use that

Thanks for the help. Seems it's not necessary now as upon testing my daughtercard after shipment here to Lebanon one of the transistors was broken off and it no longer works. No big loss really as the only reason I was using MIDI was to play a JP shmup and it has recently been patched to include .ogg bgm tracks so I'll just have to settle for that
