exclamation Audigy 2 Value Setup

I just got a HUGE order from newegg.com and with it I got a Audigy 2 value sound card and i have some questions. Im putting it into a home theater reciever, yahmaha yth-150 to be exact. When I hook my xbox into it, and the xbox is set to DD then it says DOLBY DIGITAL on the reciever, What im going to do with my computer is send all 3 of my lines into 3.5mm to RCA adapters then into the 6 ch input on my reciever, will my reciever be able to automatically find DD and DTS? On the subject of DTS I heard that the audigy 2 value does come stock iwth the ability to decode this, Ive also heard of all the softmods going around, what would be the best softmod to get it to DTS and do it good! I have not put all of my computer together yet. It was oem and on the card some peices were bent, but not to bad. Another thing i noticed is that there is an orange wire connecting 2 places together and is glued in, different from the picture on newgg.... Any ideas why it would be there? Also what are the different things on the card for? I know the two black ones are for the cd drives? but which one do i use for just 1 drive? What is the white on and that other 2 pin one that got bent?

EDIT! Also which ports are which? 1 for left and right 1 for rleft and rright and one for center and bass but which color is witch???? And when i split the 3.5 for center and bass will red be bass or center?

PICTURE OF MY THOUGHTS

Why don't you just use coaxial cable if you have a hometheater amp being able to decode dts&dd? You can get dd 5.1, dd-ex, dts and dts-es with it from the movies. If you use the amp for 5.1 or 6.1 gaming ONLY then use the 3 3.5-rcax2 wires to use multi-ch-in 5.1 of the reciever. The simple pass-through is MUCH better for dd and dts signals than using Audigy 2 poor dd/dts decoding + its poor analog outputs and dacs.

"will my reciever be able to automatically find DD and DTS?" I suppose no as it is analog input, in my Sony str-db790 6.1 receiver it is called "multi-ch analog in 5.1".

Ok OK OK! Im not running my DVD player throught my card, Im running that and my xbox into my reciever/amp through optical cable. IM wondering if I can run 3x3.5mm-to-RCA into the 6ch input from my computer... This is anolog right? BUT it will work with my games in surround sound right? Is there a digital out on MY CARD I can change to coaxial or optical or something of that sort? If I use the anolog out then it will still be in surround sound right? I think I got you confused, I dont want to run anything in to my card then back out, I want to run my card out to my amp/reciever and get the Surround sound on games which I THOUGHT was DD and DTS...

EDIT: also looking for an online manual to tell me which 3.5mm port is which!

Yes with analog outs you can get analog 5.1, 6.1 and 7.1 sound out from A2 Value (I have the same card). There is coaxial digital output in the a2 value which I use to run the signal to coaxial-optical adapter and after that to optical in of my receiver (I get ground loop if I use coaxial and humming sound with the pcm or passthrough signal of dd, dd-ex, dts and dts-es signals. Remember that the only "card" that gives dd 5.1 digital signal in games is Nvidia Soundstorm). With music I use optical cable from av710 to receiver. But with headphones I use analog out of a2 value for games and av710 for music and use CMoy amp with both (better sound with av710, good dac, sometimes for a2 value I use Sony amp+pcm signal+headphones, too, if the Sony amp is not occupied.

Can you help me with which color 3.5mm ports are which? So your saying that if I ran the 3.5mm-to-RCA setup it would be the same as running it through coaxial? But coaxial seems simpler so there IS a digital out on the a2 value, but I have to switch it to coaxial somehow. It starts as one of the 3.5mm ports right? Where can I get an adapter that swaps it to coaxial?

EDIT: which COLOR port is digital out?

No, I wrote there before that you can get 5.1,6.1,7.1 sounds in games ONLY via analog outputs. Print the manual from the cd I don't recall the colors as I only use the coaxial output (black in the other border) and line out for CMoy (the green one if I remember correct). I wrote coaxial->optical adapter but there are both opt->coax and coax->opt, bought it from a finnish net store 20$. There is no optical output in a2 value, only a 3.5mm coax output (you need a 3.5mm-rca coax cable which I've made myself or an 3.5mm-rca adapter + coax cable).
