OK guys, I think my beautiful Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS card is gone
Late yesterday afternoon after i booted up the sound was really low for some reason. So i checked the Master Volume & Wave sliders in the control panel for the drivers. Everything was fine, so i checked winamp to see if the volume was low and it was 100%. I then shutdown and took it out the pci slot and then put it back in. Booted windows back up and then the sound was back to normal levels. I was then moving my case back in place and i touched the back of the card and the sound went back to being really low, so i took it out and placed it back again. Everything was fine last nite. Then this morning i booted up and started playing Rammstein really loud and a few mins into the 1st song, the sound dropped backed really low. I tried reinstalling the drivers. I tried using my Discman to see if it was the speakers, but they worked fine. Even tried my mom's speakers and i was getting low sound with those. What's weird is the line out connector for the front speakers gives really low sound (hardly audible), but the rear connector gives a little louder sound than the front, but it's full of static. So what do you guys think? Is it the card? Should i go ahead and RMA it? So now i'm using my onboard sound and does it suck!!!

does the card look damaged in any way?
are there any capacitors that have broken leads, that just touch the contact points on the card?

Well the audigy2 is in my old rig and it seems to be working fine... at least for now. Dunno why it was acting up in my other rig. I hope the pci slot isn't defective
