any way to hookup component(?) audio to pc?
Anyway, I have finally got vivo to work and now can play consoles etc. on my pc. now all I need to know is how to hook up the audio. Is there any adapter that I can use to hook up one or possibly both connectors so I can listen on my pc as well. They are the standard 3 plug connectors found on many consoles, vcrs, etc. I like seeing my games but it would be nice to hear them as well. I have a audigy 2 gamer, but it looks like the platinum might have a front connector that does this but im not sure, since I dont have that atm.

do you mean composite or RCA audio?
get a simple RCA to 3.5mm jack converter or cable

Red White and Yellow... composite....
Component being Blue Green Red (good high quality video, can be progressive scan and HD video) If you use the component, you must also have the REd and White cables plugged in as they provide the audio

yeah, sry, its composite. So theres just a simple adapter I can buy? Also, should I hook up red or white connectors, since I only have one 3.5mm input jack on the Audigy?

use both
3.5 jacks are stereo (3 pole) therefore you need two RCA plugs (Red and white) for stereo audio

you can get a mini jack to stereo y cable..... basically a mini "headphone" jack that goes into the sound card, and the other end is 2 seperate connectors being red and white...

What you want is this, although you might want to get a longer one.
(You might need the RCA ends to be female, but I doubt it, as I haven't dealt with a console in quite some time.) |

the ends should be male if the console has the sockets, or female if the console has pre-connected cables
