5.1 headphones discussion

So heres the deal... Are they usefull or not? I personally have a audigy 2 Value *cough* i mean ZS... And at night when i want to play the scary games... doom 3, or the caffine games... CSS, any other game that has 5.1 (all new ones) i have to turn it down! So now they have these really cool 5.1 headphones which ive heard mixed results on. Some are usb, some are 3x3.5mm and some are both! Ive been looking for a good pair that I can connect to my audigy 2 card(ZS!) The best pair that I have found are the
LTB 3D True 5.1 surround sound headphones with Mic

Model "LTB-AC97-M"

Now these are the $60 ones NOT the $80 ones but as seen above they have 3x3.5mm jacks AND USB and it has a built in ac97 chip. The $80 are the exact same but only support usb and stereo 1x3.5mm. But they probrobly have a better chip, but sense ill be using my audigy 2 (ZS) then I dont care about the chip in it. Now... Im leaving it up to you if you think I should get them or not, OR post comments on ones that sound better BUT STILL HAVE 3x3.5mm JACKS!

Ya thats it kthxbye

See this thread for my thoughts on 5.1 headphones.

If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them, I just didn't feel like retyping that stuff.

i would recommand the Kinyo 5.1 headssets. i have them and they work great. i notice the static problem i had went away when i got my A2 Zs. and i notice my A2 zs made them sound better then b4. i can hear where things coming from better now.

i was playing R63 RS and i knew where this bad guy was and stuff. and my dvd movies sound great with DD, and DTS.

so i would recommand mine headsets these 40 bucks. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...401-016&depa=0

these are them. they have 3x jacks. you plug them into the amp that comes with it then u plut the amp to ur sound cards 3x jacks. and it comes with every thing u need to connect them to ur computer, 5.1 dvd player, etc.
