audigy sound pretty quiet after listening to nvidia soundstorm

hi

i´ve got an nforce2 board with soundstorm and an audigy 2 card.
after testing the nvidia "card" with headphones the sound of the audigy seems to be pretty quiet ( no changes in the settings ). what may it be ??
how can i fix the problem without a restart ??
i only changed the card in windows media settings, thats all. and the sound of my favorite card ( audigy ) is not as loud as before the change
