Question about SB Live! 4 to 5.1 softmod

Dear everybody in this forum,

i'd like to ask, what are the actual requirements to make my old sb live! value into a 5.1 full working soundcard? Do i have to make some changes to the hardware? Or do i just need to install the 4 to 5.1 softmod driver? And where should i plug the center/subwoofer cable to the soundcard?

Oh ya, one more question. Does the YouP-PAX 3.89 driver included in 2005 new year package softmod my audigy2 into audigy2 zs as well as the 3.69 driver did? Does it emphasize to the music listening or gaming?

this is no softmod

it is a hardware mod
you need a seperate DAC, aswell as PIC programming tools to reprogram the PCI-ID of the card
