Just exactly how do I upgrade?

Hi all, noobie here. I realise that it may be a pain but how do I go about upgrading my drivers for my A2zs Pro? I don't want to be left in the position of some I have seen, uninstalled drivers etc. but sat there chewin their nuts as the download hasn't worked. Bought the card a year ago, want to record some acoustic stuff, listen to music and do gaming, music a priority.
Running XP SP2. Current setup OK but if I can improve.......
Also can anyone advise of a card that will give me 6 mic I/P?
