Problem with my SiS 7012 Audio!!!Need Help!
I have a very serious problem with my onboard sound. When i stick my headset in the back of the computer, i hear very low sounds when i play music. I have tried turning up everything but there is no improvement. Does anyone have any suggestions? If you need to look at my DXDIAG.txt please ask .

Many soundcards (and onboards) intended to drive amplified speakers are most unsatisfactory at driving headphones directly.
Some cheap (very cheap) speaker sets have a headphone socket, but I'm not sure if it's fed from the amplifier, or direct through. |

I suppose it won't reach?
Try the speaker headphone socket, and if that does deliver acceptable volume, then you'll need an extension cable so the microphone will reach. I ought to design a USB-powered headphone amplifier, as many soundcards won't drive them directly. |
