Making a cd with cracked zs drivers

i dont feel like reinstalling and patching the cracked audigy zs drivers after every os reinstall .
not to mention all the driver updates that have to be patched.can i not just make a folder,on the drive,copy the contents to it,patch the necessary drivers,and then the updated drivers, make a cd of it,then when it comes to installing the drivers after a fresh xp pro install i can just use my cd with all the patched drivers and updates
