Is there a way to get an Audigy to decode plain pro-logic form 2 channel source?
Other then using CMSS, is it possible to have the audigy decode regular pro-logic? The reason is, I am running my game console through my ATI TV wonder pro using Dscaler, and I want to have the pro-logic in the games used instead of CMSS or stereo surround.
Thanks |

its actually encoding into pro-logic, not decoding
some stereo systems will do it, other wise you are stuck with the driver implementation

Actually, I think you have it backwards. The stereo source is already encoded with pro-logic material, is it not? Then the receiver/sound card decodes it to get the surround material out of the stereo source.
Oh, do note I am using analog output. My problem is unlike DD or DTS, I cannot get the Audigy to decode Dolby Pro-Logic from my stereo sources. |
