Will there be a new release of PAX Drivers with new Soundblaster 2 Beta Drivers?
Hi,
i like the Pax Drivers very much, they run perfectly on my Audigy 2 with almost all Creative applications of the Audigy 4. Good job!!!Now i read that there is a new Beta Driver for Audigy 2 and Audigy 2 ZS with improved Open AL support, and they seem to give better performance. IŽd like to install them ![]() , but i dont like to loose all those extra Audigy4 gizmos on my rig . So this goes out mainly to Classic Leon:Will there be a set of PAX Drivers with the new beta drivers? Any answer will be appreciated... Greetings, Biker |

yep, I had them installed with PaX soft, but I'd be better if there is a new release of modded drivers.
The fact is that mr. PaX wants to do it again......:s

They work flawlessly with all A4 applications (incl the equalizer) on my setup. Of course, I have the Audigy 2zs so it might be different for someone with the A2.

Every application of New Year Package works fine with the new beta drivers, except for the Creative Diagnostics tab. I can't get that to work. I do know that everything is working like it should.

YouP 2.0 drivers are ready for upgrading. The initial one was buggy.

Nono, youp 3.99 are not the new beta drivers. They are still based on the latest official drivers, not the beta.

I guess the answer will really be subjective. The best is if you try them out and decide for yourself. =)
