sblive 24 bit 7.1 high cpu usage

When I play an MP3 song with winamp cpu usage is between 10% to 15% , is that normal ??

I have A64 2.0Ghz

if I set sampling rate to 48 cpu usage is 5 to 7% from device control in device manger

if I set sampling rate to 96 cpu usage is 10 to 15%

if I use Audigy LS driver cpu usage is 0 to 3% but device control is not working to set the sampling rate to 96 to give me better sound quality .... any one can give me the surround mixer version of audigy LS and a program to set the sampling rate from it that work with the sblive 24bit

System Specs

this is most likely because the card is not hardware accelerated like the true soundblaster live and audigy cards

but why with audigy LS driver cpu usage is less ?? 0% 3%

maybe sampling rate is set to 48Khz ??

How I can identify the card is working 48Khz or 96Khz?

with normal sblive24 driver I can open device control and set sampling rate from 48 to 96, but when I install audigy driver I can't open device control , it gives me error.
