CS Source Surround Sound Error

Heya people, with source based games only on some levels I get a sound error, its as if the sound file is broken up into 5 bits or somethings, its wierd. It kinda skips, it shits me.

Im using some crappy 5.1 card (all other games work fine with it)

create inspire 5200's

I cant update the drivers for my sound card because creative dont make the drivers for the card anymore, its a Ectiva 5.1 thing.

Any help would be appreciated.
