audigy 2 without i/o drive boot slow

audigy 2 without i/o drive boot slow
hi, I have an audigy2 card, this include the i/o drive, but sell me with out drive, installing only the last beta drivers and full original drivers from cd, I have the follow problem:

after 1st xp boot image, the pc freeze 30 or 40 seconds on black screen, after that finish loading ok, using kx drives boot WITH OUT freeze.

I need official drivers for capture sound using tv card.

Maybe the driver is waiting connection with i/o drive.

any help to solve this?

System Specs

you can use kX to capture tv card sound if you set it correctly within the kX mixer

not work ...
the same problem with this new driver, exists a jumper in the card to disable external drive?
