And now my soundcard isn't working properly
Hello.
I got info of this drivers today, and thought, YES what a nice driver, I've always wanted my music to sound better. I downloaded everything to be sure, read the manual/instructions over and over again.. didn't understand everything clearly so I did chance. Wrong damn chance. Now my computer is totally f'cked up.(sorry). I got a SB Live and I uninstalled everything now and want to restart from beginning, as my old orginal drivers from creative.com. But what happends, as soon as I've uninstalled, reboot in safe mode, go for drivercleaner pro, delete reg entrys, restart, my computer keep telling me it found a new hardware, of course, It's my soundcard BUT it's wrong drivers, it keep telling me that there is the EMU10k drivers, that happend since I installed the youp-pax stuff. And it won't let me get back to Soundblaster [9000] or what i had. Im so damn pissed, i've been sitting with this for 6 hours now, since school ended, until now, Im goin to sleep soon. I've uninstalled from the installer everything, done everything stated at this page, and it won't work. My mouse and whole computer can also lag sometimes, just a few sec then start thinkin again. Hope someone can explain this. Thanks. /Pissed m0gg3 |

go into safe mode and remove any driver cache folder (back up an archive first) and see if that works
otherwise install the original CL drivers and if it works it doesn't matter what the computer thinks your card's name is

You haven't told us what PAX drivers you're using. I wonder if you install Audigy2 drivers on your sound card.

PAX-NewYear2005 - 253MB - Server 1
From ordorica.org YouP-PAX-VIv2.2.7z - 13MB - Server 1 from ordorica.org Installed sblive drivers Then I followed this guide: http://www.hardwareheaven.com/showpost...3&postcount=67 and read alot of the pages there. Couldn't find any clue to my problem. And like I said, I wasn't 100% sure to what I should do, didn't understand the guide totally so I did a chance. But there most be someway to fix it Btw, using windows 2000. Thanks. Btw. I would kneel for you if you wrote a detailed guide to install youp pax on my soundblaster live card. I might be to stupid for this but after all comments that the sound is so good I really want it ![]() Last edited by m0gg3; May 11, 2005 at 02:40 PM. |

The drivers have been re-uploaded after several bugs were fixed.
Direct link: http://bt.99hifi.com:80/youp/YouP-PAX-VIv2.2.rar Stps to Install: 1, remove the drivers now you are using; 2, download it and click to extract; 3, clike to execute drivers and choose English Interface; 4, agree and click "next"; 5, choose to install YouP-PAX-VIv2.2.rar (music) 6, install drivers and click "continue any way" 7, click "cancel" to finish installing 8, restart.

[Big Edit]
I got it working! ![]() And this sound is so damn good! Never heard better, you've done a really good job here. ![]() Just one more question. About the New Year pack. Does that contains all applications? Is it recommended to have? I like the sound like it is now, but the center speaker won't work but it hasn't before either :P A big great thanks for this. Keep up the good work! Last edited by m0gg3; May 13, 2005 at 02:27 PM. |
