annoying noise while watching smthg and writing ( also in wow )

hi there

after i´ve installed wow i get sometimes a really bad noise. something like a scratch in the box of my surround-system. this isn´t all the time and not in a regular time ( like after 1 minute ).
i´m using an audigy 1 with the audigy2zs driver and eax / stereo-surround on.
dx settings are standard ...

what made this noise and how can i fix it ??
