I have Creative Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum with hacked Audigy4 Drivers and software. When I install all that happy stuff Creative's DVD-A Player isn't in the list of programs to install. I tried installing WindDVD 6 but when i try to play a DVD-A idsk, it will only play 2 channels instead of available 6, plus in addition to downmixing it plays 16bit 44 khz crap instead of 24bit 96khz like it is on cd. Cyberlink's Power DVD 6 won't even detect the DVD as "audio", instead it always runs in a "video" mode opening only crappy 5.1 Dolby Digital playback. My question is: Is there ANY way to play DVD Audio disks on my Audigy Platinum in full 24bit 96khz 5.1 sound quality? And Can anyone show me how to install Creative DVD-A Player to work with my soundcard? Thanx!
P.S. I can't use the official drivers because Audigy doesnt support DVD-A by default anyways. Only Audigy 2 does. Last edited by sovietdoc; May 22, 2005 at 08:37 AM. |
