Can't downgrade from v2 beta Creative drivers

Anything before the v2 beta drivers, do not install correctly. Files are missing after I reboot. The only thing that will work properly is using the beta installer.

Anyone having similar problems?

Have you tried the latest non-beta package? A new one came out on May 12. (Audigy2)

yeah, when I try that.. the driver installs. But I get errors when I boot up about missing ReadReg.exe. Also, CTHELPER.EXE isn't installed, along with a bunch of other things that are needed in order for the Creative software to identify that I have the card.

use drivercleaner to remove the drivers and the re-install the official drivers
