EEK! Audigy 2 eX HEEEEEELP

I got this Audigy 2 eX today from a friend. I installed YouPax's 2005 creative drivers and software on it and it said my card was an Audigy 2 ZS <-- wtf??
Anyways, I am trying to play an Audio DVD using S/PDIF out. Here is my setup: My Z-5500 digital speakers are plugged to the S/PDIF out port on the Audigy2 eX Drive via Optical connection. Z-5500 support DTS 96/24 and PCM 96/24 formats. I wanna know how do I set it all up that way so I can play my audio dvd in 5.1 PCM 96/24 over the optical connection? Right now the only way I can get sound through Indeo's WinDVD 6 is to use "Analog Soundcard" option in the Audio Setup.
My speakers are capable of handeling PCM 96/24 how comes I can't play it through S/PDIF? Help plz.
