Please help me setting a 5.1 headphone

Hey guys I am trying to configure a 5.1 surround Headphone but I feel it's not working as it should be. First of all I have to set it in the Surround Mixer as a 5.1 Speakers because if I set as normal headphone only 2 speakers works, and the sound is not comfortable using the speaker setting, its like use a normal headphone and use the 2 speakers set, looks strange and the balance doesnt look right.
Moreover some games like GTA SA, Pariah; if I use de 5.1 config I cant listen the sound right in my front, only if I turn the camera I can hear they, this is making me go nuts

I tried search in google but didnt help.
Please someone knows how I "fix" this problem?? Its not all the games.

I have a Audigy 1 using the latest drivers from it, if I use the mod for audigy 2 or 4 will be in Surround Mixer option for 5.1 headphone?

Pleas help me!!
