Battlefield 2 "Extreme High" Sound Details???

I wonder how to get this "Extreme High" Sound-Quality-Option to work (dont know how its called in english, have german version).
Is it only made for those X-Fi Chips or what is it?
I have it written in red and cant select it, not with "Software", nor with "Hardware".

I use an Audigy2 wih the PAX Audigy 4 Drivers.

I can select it, Audigy2ZS@Audigy4 but I haven't tried there reads only for X-Fi.

yeah u can select ultra high. but when u press ok and leave the game or play a round and come back its back in High and not Ultra High right?

Is there actually a concrete difference between Medium, High and Ultra High or just clarity?
