So what is the procedure?

I have an audigy 2ZS right now. Should I uninstall the drivers and all the software. Then reboot and run the setup from the iso. Then apply the updated driver and then the patch????

I saw some people had troubles finding the patch.
So I uploaded it onto SilentWhisper.net
It wont expire or anything. It will be there until I delete it.

I'm myself having some problems when installing 1.002 drivers.
In neither THX nor SpeakerSettings can I choose which speaker settings I want.

I'll try to reinstall the regular drivers and see if it works, don't think I really need the update.

If hosting for the Drivers and the Update are really needed. I think I could get a host. But only if people are desperate :P beacuse it would kill my website bandwith :P

I had no problems with Win2K SP2 and SP3, however on WinXP SP1.0a the Speaker settings always crashed and the 5.1 settings was never ever saved. No idea what is wrong, fresh XP. I trying the patch (I not need it on W2k) and if this don't make it switfly working, I back on original drivers

Well, yes. I first started with the CD - installed only Sur mixer and speaker settings (not need for anything else, using the games + DVD version) and then updated (?) them with the exe installer

Like I did on Win2k.

During the CD install I saw message about "unknown handler" but things seems working, except the crash of Spaker settings. Replacing the exes fix that

Now I upgraded to X-Fi Fatal1ty and I must say that the Creative drivers suxx

I would love if YouPax drivers start supporting this HW, tought it probably will not be easy... But hey, check this out - I'm on horrible backup machine, tough:
