HI evryone - i'm a complete beginner to this home recording lark and feel as though im drowning in technobable - i have bad latency when trying to record my guitar parts.
I am using XP/MAudio Quattro sound card with cubase 5.1/32 Can anyone let me know (in plain english!) how to get rid of this problem PLEASE!! Thanks Bonehead7 |

in cubase - the audio driver settings
unless you are using ASIO drivers you WILL get a large latency btw directsound asio and mme asio do not count you need a dedicated ASIO soundcard edit: i see you have an Maudio card - that should support ASIO
