Noob, Audigy 2

Hey everybody, I've been lurking around the forums for a little while, trying to figure some of this stuff out on my own, but I'm lost, confused, and don't have any clue what to do. Any help would be awesome.

I just got a bunch of computer parts, and one of them was an Audigy 2 Platinum, pretty sure it's retail. I don't have a driver CD for it, though, and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get drivers properly installed! There are all sorts of posts here related to different sets of drivers (for an Audigy2 ZS, the new Audigy4, Audigy X YouP-PAX...). All I want is to get the best quality sound, with the newest set of drivers I can get for this card, but I can't figure out what to download, or what to do! What are the best drivers to use?

Any step by step help would be the best. So far, all I have done is use driver cleaner to clean the system up. Now what? Like I said, I can't figure out some of the other posts on here... I feel like such a noob!

Can somebody explain to me what the benefits of installing the Audigy 4 drivers are?

Ya it would help ya out alot. Just try them out.

It's only person ear that makes driffter sound and people have driffter hearing the others that can hear sounds better or what not.

just try it out if you don't like you always can uninstalled it.
