Audigy prob

I gots this Audigy2 ZS with the external drive. Everytime an application or a game wants to use the microphone, my mic gets changed from "Line in1/Mic" (on the external drive) to default windows "microphone"...basically i can't use my mic..how do i fix it? There is no mic port on the back of the card since it only has three ports (rear, front and center)

Well did you try make sure it's hook up right like line in for tv sound? And mic on line 2? you might want check your settings in contral panel. or just upgrade to audigy 4 modded drivers that might fix it

My mic works fine. Its plugged to line1/Mic on the audigy drive because audigy with extrenal drives have no "microphone" port. As soon as i start a game, my default recording port changes from line1/mic to the "microphone" and since audigy with the external drive doesnt even have a "mic" port, my mic doesnt work in games. I need to find a way to keep the default recording source as "line1/mic" because thats where my mic is pligged in into, because windows always switches it to "microphone" port which isnt even there...
