BF2 sound problem
For some reason I'm getting some high pitched sounds freezing my computer. This doesn't happen in any other game so I'm thinking it's just cause BF2 runs like shit. I have Augidy2 ZS with YouP-Pax A4 drivers.

Do you get a blank blue screen of death also ?
I get that and the high pitched sound. Using the same card with the same drivers! |

Also, double check your sound settings. Try changing them ingame to software mode, or hardware without full EAX support. |

I'm positive it's just more shit on BF2's part. I tried the official drivers, same crap. I lowered acceleration to normal and low and I still get these faults. I'm not going to lower acceleration any lower than full because it sounds way crappier. I lower sound quality to medium and haven't had any problems so far. It sounds pretty much the same so I'll just do that. I don't expect EA to fix this crap because they obviously don't know what a patch is releasing 1.01 and 1.02.
I haven't noticed any difference from using YouP-Pax A4 and the official drivers.
