Windows 2000 and Voice Problems

For some reason Windows 2000 will not let me run two programs that use voice at the same time, such as Ventrilo, TeamSpeak, and any in-game voice communication. For example, if I turn on Ventrilo and connect to a server, then the voice communication in any game will not work, or vice versa. I am using Windows 2000 Professional SP4, my system specs are in my sig. I am currently using the PAX A4 1.02 drivers, but this happens no matter which driver I use, and also happens with my onboard Realtek ALC850 sound. None of this happened under Windows XP Professional. Is there any way to fix this, or is it just a limitation of the OS?

Hmm have you ever tried running both at once?
