Audigy help

Hi all my first post here so be gentle

I have a audigy card in my PC and would like the SPDIF inputs the live drive offers. I have the chance of a audigy drive bay but it doesn't come with the ribbon cable to connect the 2 together.

Does anyone know where I could pick one of these cables up from??

I would be connecting an audigy 1 card to a audigy 1 drivebay.

Cheers in advance for any help!

I'm not sure, but would a normal 40-pin IDE cable be OK.

AUD_EXT (40-pin) --> LiveDrive (??-pin).

I don't see why you couldn't use a 40 pin ide cable. The only thing you'd have to be carefull of is getting a cable that has pin 20 blocked on the connector. As well, don't use an 80 wire cable as some come with 1 wire cut as well as pin 20 blocked.

Right I've managed to get the thing installed and it kinda looks like it's working(well i've got a light coming out of the optical ins/outs).

Is there any drivers knocking about for the drive bay?? I've only got the drivers for the audigy internal card.

Cheers

I suppose you need to reinstall your card again (1st remove old drivers completely using driver cleaner, + delete creative folder on program files too).

Here are original installation CD's (ISO files) if you need one.
