Did the Audigy2 drivers fix your Audigy1/BF42 experience???

Did the Audigy2 drivers fix the static in Battlefield 1942 for Audigy1 owners?

I know this game has major sound issues but I'm just curious. For myself it's still quite staticy. Not a major inconvenience but it sometimes makes using Roger Wilco impossible.

If I turn down Hardware Acceleration to NONE it finally goes away. Not quite what I had wanted to do but it's much better. Thnx for all your hard work RIV@NX

Hmmm... I heard that Audigy2 has it good...
So, maybe it is drivers related...
