Sound Configuration Problem
I recently just bought the "Creative Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS" along with the "Logitech Z-5500 5.1 Digital Speakers". I have ensured that all the wires are correctly in place, and I have the latest drivers for both speakers and sound card. Now my problem is I cannot hear certain sound pitches correctly. For instance when I am watching a movie, or playing a game the background effects and music are at the perfect volume, however, low pitch and voices are so low, or being drowned out by the music, I can barely hear them.
Also, I don't know if its part of the problem, or if it may serve as a clue to the problem, but I will list what kind of sounds I get in the following speaker effects in Direct and Stereo Mode 6 Ch Direct: Low pitch sounds are to soft and cannot be heard when music is playing. Stereo: No audio what-so-ever Stereo x2: No audio what-so-ever PLII Movie: Same as 6 Ch Direct. PLII Music: Same as 6 Ch Direct. I'm not too knowledgeable on Sound card and Speaker setup, so I don't exactly know what information I should be giveing for help, I'm sure the problem is simple, but if somone could kindly point me in the right direction it would be much obliged. Thanks for reading. |

Well, I have tried it under CMSS I and II, as well as Stereo, none of them seem to have any effect on the problem I am having. I also just installed the modded Audigy 4 drivers, and it didnt affect anything either.
