Need serious help here
system as follow:
amdxp1700 1 gig ddr333 ram 2x 40 gb hdd audigy 1 currently my klipsch 2.0ulta giiving hissing sound on certain songs. but when i tested the speakers on another sys, my laptop. no such issue and i could actually blast this small speakers very well. i am using the same power supply connection as what i have use for my desktop setup so i guess its not the speakers or sound card problems |

What happens, if you mute all other sources but "Wave" and "Main Volume" on "Creative Suround Mixer"? Wave can be set to 100%.
Also check that - "EAX effects" are set "OFF" - volume settings on "Control Panel: Sounds and Muldimedia" are equal with Surround Mixer (if not syncronized with "Surround Mixer") - you have connected your speakers to right connector(s) (see Audigy User's Guide which can be downloaded on Creative Support : Product Documentation) jiitee |
